Terms, Conditions & Policies
Last updated: 20 December 2025
Welcome - I’m so glad you’re here.
This page explains how my in-person gatherings work, what you can expect, and the boundaries that help keep these spaces safe, respectful, and supportive for everyone.
By attending any of my gatherings or opting into related communication, you agree to the following.
Our Values
These gatherings are grounded in respect, care, and shared humanity.
I am an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, and these spaces are intended to be safe, welcoming, and inclusive.
Racism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, body shaming, harassment, or discrimination of any kind are not welcome here.
If someone behaves in a way that is harmful, discriminatory, or unsafe, they will be asked to leave.
These values are not up for debate. They exist to protect the community.
1. What I Offer
I run in-person, community-based gatherings for women focused on connection, mindfulness, and belonging without pressure, fixing, or performance.
Current offerings include:
Mugs ’n’ Hugs
A casual coffee-style catch-up centred on connection and conversation.
Wild Gatherings
A 10-week, in-person series designed to build community over the Victorian school term. Wild Gatherings are similar to a women’s circle - just not in a room, and not in a circle.
They take place out in the community or “in the wild” and are designed to be gentle, inclusive, and accessible.
2. What These Gatherings Are (and Aren’t)
These gatherings are for:
• community
• connection
• mindfulness
• shared experience
• gentle personal growth
They are not:
• therapy
• counselling
• mental-health treatment
• coaching programs
• crisis support
I am not acting as a therapist, counsellor, or mental-health professional in these spaces.
3. Who These Spaces Are For
These gatherings are for adult women (18+).
They are especially suited to women craving connection and community, whether or not you run a business.
You do not need to be confident, outgoing, healed, or “good at networking” to belong here.
4. Babies & Children
I understand that childcare can be a barrier, especially for mothers with very young babies.
Babies who are not yet mobile, and who can be comfortably worn or remain in a pram, are welcome to attend. At this stage, these gatherings are not suitable for older babies or children, and children are not able to attend.
This boundary exists to support the safety, focus, and shared experience of the group, and to honour the intention of these spaces.
Thank you for understanding.
5. Accessibility & Inclusion
Accessibility matters deeply to me. My offerings are designed to be:
• low-pressure
• flexible
• inclusive
• accessible wherever possible
If you have access needs, mobility considerations, sensory needs, or anything else that would help you feel comfortable participating, you’re welcome to share this with me. You only need to share what feels safe for you.
6. Participation & Personal Responsibility
You are always in charge of your own participation. You can:
• come and go as needed
• opt out of any activity
• take breaks
• choose how much you share
You are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after gatherings, and for seeking professional support if needed.
7. Community Guidelines (Code of Conduct)
These spaces are built on care, trust, and mutual respect. By attending, you agree to:
• treat others with kindness and respect
• listen without judgement, fixing, or unsolicited advice
• respect differences in identities and experiences
• keep shared stories confidential
• not photograph or record others without consent
If someone behaves in a way that feels unsafe, harmful, or disrespectful, I reserve the right to step in or ask them to leave.
8. Costs, Payments & Changes
Mugs ‘n Hugs is free to attend, however as it is in a third party venue, participants are encouraged to purchase their own food and drink.
Wild Gatherings requires a small upfront payment before the term commences. The current investment can be found on the Wild Gatherings page here.
Some Wild Gathering activities may involve an optional additional cost.
• All costs will be communicated clearly in advance
• Participation in paid activities is optional
• Prices may be set by external providers
There are no surprise charges.
9. Refund Policy
I aim to be fair, transparent, and clear about payments and refunds.
Because my gatherings are small, community-based, and often involve planning or external costs, the following applies.
Mugs ‘n Hugs
Mugs ‘n Hugs does not involve payment and therefore do not qualify for refunds.
Wild Gatherings
Wild Gatherings includes a paid component:
• Payments are non-refundable once the series has begun
• Missed sessions are not refundable
• Partial refunds are not offered for missed weeks
This is because places are limited and the series is designed as a shared, ongoing experience.
If something significant arises, you’re welcome to reach out. While refunds aren’t guaranteed, I will always approach conversations with care and fairness.
Optional Paid Activities
Occasionally, optional Wild Gathering activities may involve additional costs.
• Refunds depend on the terms of the external provider
• If costs have already been paid to a third party, they may be non-refundable
• This will always be communicated in advance
Where possible, I will pass on any refunds I am able to receive, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellations by Me
If I need to cancel a paid activity or gathering, you will be offered:
• a full refund, OR
• a credit or transfer (if applicable)
Weather & Unexpected Changes
If an activity needs to be changed, moved, or rescheduled due to weather, safety concerns, or circumstances outside my control, refunds are not guaranteed. I will always aim to offer an alternative where possible.
No-Shows
If you book a paid activity and do not attend without notice, no refund or credit will be provided.
10. Optional WhatsApp Group
Wild Gatherings may include an optional WhatsApp group for connection and logistics between meet-ups.
• Joining is completely optional
• You can leave at any time
• Other members will be able to see your phone number
• Community guidelines apply
The group is for connection and coordination, not pressure, promotion, or emotional labour.
11. Privacy & Confidentiality
Your privacy matters.
I may collect your name, contact details, attendance information, and WhatsApp participation (if you opt in).
Payment information (if applicable) is handled securely through third-party platforms.
Your information is used only to manage gatherings and share relevant updates.
I will never sell or misuse your data.
What’s shared in gatherings stays in gatherings.
I may share anonymous themes in my writing or promotion, but never identifying details without permission.
12. Photos & Content
Occasionally, I may take photos during gatherings.
• You will always be informed
• You can opt out at any time
• Your boundaries will be respected
13. Liability, Safety & Risk
By attending, you acknowledge that you participate at your own risk.
I am not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or harm that may occur while attending any gathering, including injuries, emotional distress, accidents in public spaces, or loss of personal belongings.
You are responsible for honouring your limits and choosing what feels safe for you.
14. When a Session Ends
Each gathering has a clear start and end time.
Once I officially leave, the session is considered ended, even if participants choose to stay or continue socialising.
Anything that happens after that point is not under my supervision or responsibility.
15. Weather & Location Changes
Some gatherings take place outdoors or in public spaces.
In the event of unsuitable weather, safety concerns, or unexpected circumstances, I may change the location, adjust the activity, or reschedule. Any changes will be communicated as clearly as possible.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
The most current version will always be available on my website.
